With over 600,000 residents within city limits and over 3.5 million residents in its metropolitan area, Seattle is the northwest’s largest city and the country’s 15th largest metropolitan area. That being said, Seattle, Washington is famous for its far share of things. Included in Seattle’s fame is the birth of Jimi Hendrix and the formation of such bands as Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and Pearl Jam; some of the most influential musicians in rock history.

Seattle has also become known as one of the software industry’s leading cities, being home to companies such as Amazon.com and RealNetworks, but what some forget about is the growing number of car shows in Seattle.

Seattle certainly isn’t yet famous for its car shows, but it does hold enough automotive events to keep car enthusiasts busy. Two of the better know Seattle Car Shows are, of course the Seattle International Auto Show and the Cruise The Ave. So They Shall Walk.

The 2012 Cruise The Ave. So They Shall Walk is quite different than the Seattle Auto Show. Cruise the Ave. So They Shall Walk has a very different goal, not to raise awareness of the new cars 2012 has to offer, but to donate and raise our awareness of paralyzed and disabled person.

All donations made during this car show go to the They Shall Walk non-profit medical research corporation with the goal of giving those that don’t have the ability to walk a chance.
